Inner Child Revelation

It was my supreme honour to offer Reiki to a 9 year old girl last week.  As I worked on her I admired her amazing beauty, her little tiny hands and her angelic heart.  She had such an innocence and trusted me to give her "positive energy".  She didn't fidget or move around. It seemed as though she already knew this energy of love. I wondered what it would have been like to experience Reiki at such a young age.  I was 26 when I had my first Reiki experience. After the session I was driving home thinking about what the energy of 9 years old was like. I forgot what it was like to be that age. I was 9 when my parents got divorced. How did an empathic and sensitive child deal with such a thing?  What did I make things mean at that age? The session with the girl showed me the opportunity to do some inner child work. Here was this beautiful gift sent by a young girl. Thank you universe. I am truly blessed with your amazing ways.
